We collect only what we need to process your orders, deliver them and support you afterwards. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Procomm Technologies, 188, Kajolshah, MAG Osmani Medical Road, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh, operates this online shop and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. This policy covers the shop and the main Procomm Technologies website.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Orders: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), delivery address, area and district, any order notes, and what you bought.
Accounts: your name, email address, mobile number, saved addresses, password and when you last signed in. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form that our staff cannot read.
Business accounts: company name, trade licence number and VAT BIN.
Quotations and installations: your contact details, company name, the products or services you need, your site address and anything you tell us about the job.
When you contact us: the content of your calls, emails and messages.

Information created when you use the shop

Payment records: the payment method, amount, status, and the transaction reference from SSLCommerz or bKash. We do not receive or store your card number, card security code, bKash PIN or OTP. These are entered only on the payment provider's own pages.
Order history: order status changes, delivery and courier details, invoices, returns and warranty claims.
Technical information: your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, recorded in our server logs for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use your information

to process, confirm and deliver your orders, including calling you to confirm an order or arrange delivery;
to send order updates by SMS and email (order received, confirmed, shipped, delivered or cancelled);
to take and verify payments, and to process refunds;
to handle returns, warranty claims and installation bookings;
to verify business account applications and offer business pricing;
to prepare and follow up on quotations you request;
to prevent fraud, protect the shop and our customers, and keep the website secure; and
to keep the business and tax records required by law.

We send order-related messages because they are needed to fulfil your order. We will send promotional SMS or emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above:

Delivery partners and couriers: your name, phone number, address and, for Cash on Delivery, the amount to collect.
Payment providers: SSLCommerz and bKash process online payments under their own privacy policies. We send them your order reference, amount, and the contact details needed for the payment.
Messaging and hosting providers: our SMS provider (SSL Wireless) delivers order text messages. Our website, database and email are hosted with our hosting provider.
Manufacturers and service centres: your name, contact details, invoice and the product's serial number when we make a warranty claim for you.
Authorities: where we are required to by law, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies

The shop uses only the cookies it needs to work:

We do not use advertising, analytics or social media tracking cookies. When you pay online, SSLCommerz or bKash may set their own cookies on their payment pages.

6. How long we keep it

Orders, invoices and payment records: for as long as required by Bangladeshi tax, VAT and accounting law, and for the length of any product warranty.
Accounts: until you ask us to close your account. Order records linked to it are kept as described above.
Quotations and installation requests: for up to 3 years, so we can support the work and any follow-up.
Server logs: 30 days.

7. How we protect it

The shop is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are hashed. Staff access is limited by role to the information they need for their job. Guest order pages are protected by a private link that only you receive. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private and contact us immediately if you suspect any misuse.

8. Your choices and rights

See and correct your information: signed-in customers can view their orders and update their details on the My account page. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Delete your account: contact us and we will close your account and delete or anonymise your personal information, except records we must keep by law.
Stop marketing: you can opt out of any promotional messages at any time. Order updates will continue while you have an active order.

We will respond to requests within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

9. Children

The shop is not intended for children. Accounts may only be created by people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we will show a notice on the website.
